Accessibility statement

Lavender Studio

We want everyone to be able to use this site and get the service. This is how accessible the site is, and how to reach us.

The Hebrew statement is the binding version.

Level of accessibility

The site was built under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and to Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on WCAG 2.0. The site is tested against WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

What we did

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focus is clearly marked.
  • Every page has its own heading, and screen readers identify its headings and regions.
  • A form error is explained in text, and the focus moves to the first field that needs fixing.
  • Images have alternative text, and an image without a description is not shown in the gallery.
  • Text contrast is at least 4.5:1.
  • The site adapts to small screens and to larger text, and respects a request for reduced motion.

The accessibility menu

The site has an accessibility menu for enlarging text, changing contrast and highlighting links. The menu is an extra aid, and the site does not depend on it to be accessible.

Known limitations

  • Signing in with Google happens on a Google page, which we do not control.
  • Links to maps, WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok lead to external services, whose accessibility is their operators’ responsibility.
  • Content pages moved from a previous site may contain images without a description.
